Ragi Dosa

Ragi Dosa is a tasty and a nutritious breakfast variety. It is healthy and needs very less oil considering, it is a kind of dosa. I don't get Ragi flour in Switzerland...as far as I have tried, but whenever I go to India I bring few kilos of them...

Here follows the recipe...

Ingredients:

Ragi flour/Millet Flour- 1 Cup [To identify they are blackish grey in colour]
Rice Flour - 1/4 Cup
Onion - 1 medium finely Chopped
Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
Corriander Leaves - 4 Table spoons finely Chopped
Bitter curd - 1/2 Cup
Warm water - As much as required
Salt - as per taste
Oil - For frying

Preparation:

1. Mix all the above ingredients except oil and make a paste such that you can make dosas. The flour should be little watery than the usual dosa flour. Make sure you use a little bitter curd and warm water. Leave it for 30 minutes.
2. After half an hour, make dosas out of the flour with just few drops of oil on each side.
3. The above makes 6 to 8 Dosas. You can eat it with hot tomato chutney or hot pudina chutney. Or you could have it with the usual sambhar and chutney or curd. All combinations taste awesome!

This is very easy to make and you dont need to wait for a long time as there is not much fermentation required for the flour. Healthy, quick, nutritious and best of all tasty food. :-)
